Your age?
46 (born 8/11/1977)
Where are you from? Where do you live?
I come from East Belgium, the German-speaking part of Belgium. This is where I was born, grew up and still live in this wonderful region surrounded by nature and its many connections to the world.
What is your work?
I am a doer, follow the energy and get involved where I am needed or where I can turn the world upside down a bit as a source of inspiration. As an artist and engineer, I create works that I like to call “love letters for the world”. It’s about sharing, being there for each other, creating together and, above all, the stories we experience, because that’s what lasts. At some point, when it goes up or down, as a function of the karma we have lived, we don’t take any of the material goods with us. So I am always on tour, as a nomad, as a friend, as a father, as a confidant or simply in the form of an astral cloud, sometimes condensing more, sometimes less. Art and culture are my tools and my contribution to social change, which, in the very best case, will also be beneficial to our Mother Earth.
What is the Belgian in you?
The savoir-vivre (love of life) and le côté Bonvivant (living well, a person dedicated to the pleasures of life, especially good food). The moments of lightness and humor, spending time with people and sharing stories. This is where connections are made on a heart level and then it doesn’t matter where someone comes from or what opinion they hold. We are on the road
What is the European in you?
I am part of a larger whole, with my cultural influences, differences, linguistic idiosyncrasies and qualities. This is the leap from the local, to the regional, to the national, international, European and far beyond. The world is calling and we will see where the journey takes us.
