What is the german in you?

I don’t think I have anything German in me. Germany is a constructed something and not a natural thing, like a stone for example, that I can have inside me. I can participate in the idea of Germany and feel that I belong to it, for example by paying taxes there.

What is the European in you?

I don’t know…. maybe the luck and privilege of being born on the European subcontinent? Maybe it’s just a feeling, “I feel European”? I find it really hard to find characteristics in myself.
