Autumn leaves are a symbol of the state of my identity at the moment. Autumn is a period of deep immersion in oneself, reflection on the harvest, and preparation for the cold weather. As a Ukrainian and as a 33-year-old woman, I think about the future and understand that it will not be easy (unfortunately, the war will not end today, and the post-war years after the victory will not be easy either), and we need to prepare for it. However, despite this vulnerability, uncertainty and anxiety, the present moment is as beautiful as this autumn, as tender as a cool September wind that evokes nostalgia, and as fragile as dry autumn leaves.
