Artist, independent curator, co-founder of Volokitin Malinovska Art Studio, Artists Running Space, Open Laboratory, and founder of the Altaluna Art Group.

What is the Ukrainian in you?

Everything in my life is now Ukrainian.

What is the European in you?

Recently, I have acquired many new skills and have been reflecting deeply on European realities – more intensely than I ever expected.

I have transitioned from a more traditional, visual art format to focusing mainly on performance and installation, with an emphasis on interactive engagement with audiences and the professional community.

I dream of returning to a free and independent Ukraine with my five children, rebuilding my house in the city center near the opera house, and restoring my studio, behind whose wall a Russian missile landed in my neighbor’s bed but did not explode. Using the skills and experience I have gained, I aim to strengthen my artistic, curatorial, and educational practices in Ukraine, implementing international and interdisciplinary cultural projects. I also seek to integrate Ukrainian cultural initiatives into European and British institutions, museums, independent platforms, and public spaces.
